Ever since the first episode came out, I’ve been anticipating the next one week after week as it doesn’t pale in comparison to the manga, sometimes even better

Being a manga reader first, I was quite skeptical at first because I loved the writing and art style of the manga, and I thought that an anime adaptation of such an ambitious and genre-bending manga would be watered down in both the art and animation , especially when I saw the first visuals (very skeptical about them being less detailed about the characters), but all those concerns soon dissipated when I finally heard that it was Science SARU doing it, not to mention their recent lineup of Scott Pilgrim, Devilman Crybaby and Keep Your Hands Off Eizouken all match the craziness and vibe of DandaDan time, having worked on shows like Ping Pong, Tatami Galaxy and again Devilman.

I was worried mainly because this was the first anime I read, but now I know that Dandadan has not only established itself as a phenomenal manga, but also a great anime
