Narrative
After a family tragedy, three generations of the Deetz family return home to Winter River
Still haunted by the beetle juice, Lydia’s life is turned upside down when her teenage daughter Astrid accidentally opens a portal to the afterlife. Jenna Ortega, Michael Keaton, Winona Ryder, Catherine O’Hara, Justin Theroux, and Monica Bellucci share why they’ll never forget filming Tim Burton’s Beetlejuice. Tim Burton has said that this film would only be made if Michael Keaton returned to reprise his role.
Beetlejuice: I think that’s what Dostoyevsky said
Keaton in 2014 in March said it was the only sequel he wanted to make. The film makes reference to “French physics”; Maria Sklodowska-Curie; she is actually one of the most famous Polish scientists in history, often considered second only to Copernicus. Later, damn..

The biggest problem is that, unlike the original, it lacks likable characters
If you know the original, it’s very likely that you’ll be disappointed with this film, which suffers from a poor storyline and a chaotic script – it’ it’s a big, energetic mess of a movie. Adam & Barbera was founded early on and was the catalyst for what was to come. in 2024 version has no such characters, which means it lacks a catalyst and any reason for the audience to invest and care about any shallow characterizations other than Bob.
There are no “moments”
In a 100-minute presentation with nothing that could become classic quotable scenes unlike the original, which was graced with them, Keaton, Ryder and O’Hara are underutilized and struggle with a poor script that left my cinema silent. It also shuffles quietly when people walk out the door. You may get something out of the movie, and I sincerely hope you do, but lower your expectations before the lights go down.
