Narrative
Charles, a retired man, gets a new lease on life when he answers an ad from a private detective and becomes a mole in an undercover investigation at a nursing home. A Man On The Inside also features several of the Brooklyn 99 actors, including Stephanie Beatriz, Mary Elizabeth Ellis, Eugene Cordero, and Marc Evan Jackson.
Remake of The Mole Agent (2020)
. I’m 67 and it was so wonderful to see so many of our generation of actors and their great comedic styles.
That’s okay because you have a pretty good idea who the culprit is halfway through
These actors only get better with age and are wonderfully cast in this sweet comedy series! The script gets a little lost trying to solve the mystery and gets more in-depth with the character stories.
It’s really not a mystery
Never mind that it’s not really a mystery because you’re just having fun watching these golden old men work and show off their stuff. Just a tribute to how brave it is to be a senior citizen and still be active and feel seen in our youth-oriented society.
