When oft-fired Walt (Shameik Moore) ends up in the GUTER at his local bowling alley, AlleyCatz, tending bar and removing shoes, he feels like he’s finally found a home. When financial problems threaten the AlleyCatz, former bowler and current master drinker Skunk (D’Arcy Carden) pressures Walt to accept his role as the greatest bowler of all time. While Walt’s love of big checks and in-your-face playing style dominates the pro tour, his adversaries, including ratings-obsessed news anchor Angelo Powers and recently retired bowling legend Linda “The Crusher” Curson (Susan) Sarandon), frantically try to smother Walt’s flame before it burns too bright.
